Product Composition: ACRYSTONE SOLID SURFACE 1/8" (3mm) sheets and edge strips are manufactured with acrylic resins, ATH (alumina tri-hydrate - a flame retardant mineral), and exclusive pigments and particulates. ACRYSTONE SOLID SURFACE 1/8" (3mm) is a homogeneous material with continuous color and chip dispersion throughout. ACRYSTONE SOLID SURFACE 1/8" (3mm) sheets are distributed with a factory sanded finish. The face finish is equivalent to a matte finish. The back receives a rough sanding to facilitate adhesion to the substrate.

Basic Limitations: ACRYSTONE SOLID SURFACE 1/8" (3mm) is meant for interior use and, if bonded, must be bonded to suitable substrates such as MDF or particleboard. Please see ACRYSTONE SOLID SURFACE 1/8" (3mm) Fabrication Guide Form Order #T- 05 for details.

Finishes: ACRYSTONE SOLID SURFACE 1/8" (3mm) sheets are shipped with a factory sanded surface. The customer's desired final finish is supplied by the fabricator and may range from matte to high gloss. Be aware that countertops with a high gloss finish may require more consumer maintenance. Darker colors also may require more maintenance.
