Warranty Information

Consumer One Year Limited Warranty for ACRYSTONE¨ SOLID SURFACE1/8" (3mm)

Aristech Acrylics LLC expressly, and with the following limitations, warrants that its ACRYSTONE¨ SOLID SURFACE 1/8" (3mm) material (the "Product"), under normal use and service, shall meet the following standards for a period of one year from the date of installation to the original purchaser:

• The Product will be free from manufacturing defects in the material.

• The Product will conform, when properly handled, stored and fabricated, within accepted tolerances, to applicable manufacturing specifications as set forth by Aristech Acrylics LLC in effect at the time the Product was manufactured.

In the event that Product contains a manufacturing defect in the material or does not otherwise conform to specification as warranted Aristech Acrylics LLC or an authorized agent will, at its option, repair, replace or refund the purchase price of the Product. In no instance shall the cost of replacement exceed the original purchase price of the Product. This warranty shall not apply to damages or damage arising from any of the following:

• Physical impact, abuse or misuse.

• Exposure to extreme temperature, harsh chemicals and/or substrate failure.

• Improper storage, handling, fabrication, installation or maintenance.

• Any damage due to delivery of the product to purchaser.

• Product that has been moved or altered from its original installation.

• Related failures from plumbing, substrates, adhesives or caulk used in fabrication or installation.

This warranty is not transferable and expires upon resale or transfer by the original purchaser of Product. This limited warranty applies to Product purchased on or after January 1, 2003, and that is maintained according to the maintenance information included in the ACRYSTONE¨ SOLID SURFACE 1/8" (3mm) Use and Care Guide. For service under this limited warranty, you must notify the dealer or fabricator from whom you purchased the Product or Aristech Acrylics LLC in writing, providing your name and address, a description of the Product involved, the nature of the alleged defect or failure, and proof of purchase and date of purchase.

THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY. NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARE MADE. THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FOR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE DISCLAIMED AND DO NOT APPLY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL ARISTECH ACRYLICS LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM THE PURCHASE, USE OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT, OR FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. NO FABRICATOR, INSTALLER, DEALER, AGENT OR EMPLOYEE OF ARISTECH ACRYLICS LLC IS AUTHORIZED TO MODIFY THE OBLIGATIONS OR LIMITATIONS OF THIS WARRANTY.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state; therefore some of the limitations stated above may not apply to you.
